Remortgaging

If you have decided to re-mortgage your property, Mason & Co can guide you step by step through the process.

Once we take on a case, we will contact your existing lender to request the title deeds and a redemption statement to find out how much is still owed on your existing mortgage and any other loans you are paying off.

Depending on the lender, it may be necessary for searches to be carried out against the property – if so we will advise you.  After forwarding the mortgage deed to you for signature and receiving it back completion can be arranged. 

On completion your existing mortgage will be paid off and we will arrange to register your new mortgage with the land registry.
